A Day in God's Country

About George Kotarides, Jr.

George Kotarides is from a family of immigrants who fled a corrupt homeland to forge lives as bakers and restaurateurs in the “wonderland of America." He brings this cultural and family experience to life in a chapter entitled “Greenglish.” Since graduating from the University of Richmond with a business degree, Mr. Kotarides, like many Greeks, has made a living in the restaurant business. Over the years, he has served on numerous civic boards and resort committees.

Kotarides says, "I live with my bride, Stacy, on the Chesapeake Bay, where we marvel at sunrises and storms. Without Stacy’s inspiration and patience, I couldn’t have written the tale."
