Another tale of bigger waves and wild times is in the works. Here is a sample introduction. The speaker is an old Norfolk boy born just after The War. He says this...
 
"I guess folks in Tidewater never imagined this sort of thing could ever happen. Maybe they figured their roof couldn't blow off, their boat couldn't sink, or places that had existed for many a year couldn't flood over. But they do. And they did. The peculiar thing is, even with all the rivers and bays around there that got rearranged by the storm, and all the valuable property that got covered up, and all the important things that simply disappeared, a lot got uncovered, especially here in Carolina...."
 
He sounds like this...

Maybe they figured theyah ruff couldn't blow off, theyah boat couldn't sink, or places that had existed for many a ye-ah couldn't flood ovah. But they do. And they did. The peculiah thing is, even with all the rivahs and bays around theyah that got rearranged by the stawm, and all the valuable properteh that got covahed up and all the impawtant things that simply disappeahed, a lot got uncovahed, especially heah in Carolina...."
